About Stefanie DiLibero, LE, M.Ac, L.Ac
Stefanie is a licensed acupuncturist & esthetician who has worked in wellness for 20 years and founded Gotham Wellness in 2009.
She is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal & received her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture. She first encountered Chinese Medicine in 1999 while living in Taiwan as a teacher.
Stefanie worked as a research acupuncturist at Massachusetts General Hospital on a number of National Institute of Health funded projects & was the senior acupuncturist and clinical supervisor at Fenway Health, running their Acupuncture for Problem Substance Use program. She was the acupuncturist & Pilates teacher for Palantir Technologies. She was also a yoga teacher at the Zakim Center for Integrative Therapies at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.
Stefanie is an advanced certified practitioner of Dr. Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage of the neck & face, certified in Clean Needle Technique by the CCAOM, board certified by the NCCAOM, and licensed and registered to practice acupuncture and esthetics in New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
Stefanie’s specialties include cosmetic and facial acupuncture, TMJ disorder, stress reduction, holistic esthetics, emotional wellbeing & corporate wellness using the tools of Chinese medicine and her professional trainings in Esthetics, Pilates, Yamuna body rolling, yoga, and manual therapeutic techniques.
Travel is an integral part of Stefanie’s life. Fluent in Spanish and conversant in French, she has volunteered, worked, taught, and studied on six continents and has led international wellness retreats since 2002. Her Belize retreat was recognized by Well + Good as “one of the 11 best wellness retreats in the world”. She loves traveling around the world on wellness residencies, bringing Gotham Wellness Pop-Ups to hotels and resorts as a visiting wellness practitioner, and has worked with Four Seasons and Aman. She looks forward to working with you!
